Part-time employee
An employer may, if desired, prorate the annual benefit amount for a part-time employee. In this case, a part-time percentage (e.g. 50%) can be entered in the employee’s details, and the system will automatically allocate the employee a proportion of the annual benefit according to this percentage. For example, if the percentage is set to 50, the employee will receive half of the total annual benefit amount. Please note that setting the percentage after the benefit allocation will not remove any benefits that have already been allocated.

For the lunch benefit, a specific number of lunch usages per month can be set in the employee’s details for a part-time employee, according to how many usages per month the employee should receive. Please note that this field always affects the distribution of the lunch benefit for the following month.

Fixed-term employee

An employer may, if desired, prorate the annual benefit amount for a fixed-term employee. In this case, an end date can be entered in the employee’s details, and the system will automatically allocate the employee a proportion of the annual benefit based on this date. For example, if the end date is set to 31 May, the employee will receive a five-month share of the total annual benefit amount. If the full annual benefit is €1,200, the employee will receive a five-month portion, i.e. €500 (€1,200 / 12 × 5).

For the lunch benefit, the system calculates the benefit on a daily basis and distributes it up to the end date. For example, if the end date is set to 21 May, the employee will receive lunch benefit for the number of working days up to that date in May.

The system will also automatically deactivate the employee at the end of the end date, and the benefits will no longer be available for use. Please note that setting the date after the benefit has already been distributed will not remove any benefits that have already been allocated.

In Epassi GO these functionalities are not available, as benefits are distributed on an employee-by-employee basis and the amount can be freely chosen.
